CargoXPS Driver app for iPhone and iPad

CargoXPS is an on-demand technology that connects shippers with nearby authorized carriers who are available in the area.

The CargoXPS Driver app allows carriers to manage freight directly from their phone, including:

- view available shipments in real time
- accept a job
- receive driving directions
- take a picture of the bill of lading
- email a POD

CargoXPS allows trucking companies to market excess capacity and accept extra shipments that are on their delivery routes.

We offer LTL, FTL and drayage shipping solutions. Our carrier network includes bobtails, tractor trailers, and cargo vans.

How CargoXPS Works

Shippers log in to the CargoXPS Shipper App or at http://cargoXPS.com and enter their shipment information (origin, destination, size, weight, etc.). The shipment is displayed on the Driver App and a nearby carrier can accept the job using their smartphone.


Note : Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Usage of Background mode location update:

1. Its used to track the driver location and driver will get passenger request even the app is on background mode.

2. Here admin panel getting the driver status (online or offline) by using driver location updation. If the driver went to background, that time also we need to update driver locations because the driver automatically going to idle stage when they didnt get the location within a particular seconds. In this time the driver cant able to get any passenger trip request.
